Do white nationalists exist in Australia?

Yes, white nationalists exist in Australia.

A number of these extremist groups boldly operate and advertise in Australia, hold public events and music festivals, and attempt to recruit new members.

These groups have demonstrated their willingness to act on their supremacist ideologies. In recent years neo-Nazi vandals have targeted the Victorian Parliament and an Aboriginal community’s cemetery, whilst white supremacists have advocated fighting anti-racist protestors and carried out race hate bashings. In 2007 white supremacists were convicted of plotting a bombing campaign in Perth, having previously been sentenced for other racially motivated crimes

White nationalism is a minority extremist ideology in Australia. We need to remain vigilant to ensure that more of our young people do not become involved.
